Icelandair to Reykyavik

Icelandair from SeaTac to Reykyavik then transfer to Rome. This airline is somewhat cheaper for travel to Europe, and you can layover to visit Iceland without charge. BUT the airline has no food to speak of; everything including soda costs $. The food we did order was inedible. So for this airline, bring your own food! Upon arrival at Reykyavik, it was cold, rainy and windy. Perhaps for this and other reasons, there was no jetway. We had to walk down steps from the plane, then to a packed shuttle. I was soaked. There was also no jetway upon landing in Rome, so this couldn’t have been due to bad weather. Just a cheap airline.

Reykyavik airport for the layover was fine. It was 5am. We had a delicious lobster pizza!
